Entrants love it because they immediately receive an email confirming their entry. They also get their armband number and a receipt for their fees. We can also add other information if you wish. The trial secretary and anyone else you desire will receive a copy.

System Cost:

$2.95 per entry. An entry is defined as a single run by a dog.

There are no upfront fees.

AKC allows for discounts to be given to individuals who have provided volunteer services to the club. The time for these services must have been provided before the trial date. If a volunteer has accumulated time, they may apply any such fee discount the club has approved.

The actual process requires the club's volunteers to have log-in credentials and be members of the system's "Discount" group.  When they enter the trial, the, "Discount Amount" will appear and be deducted from the amount of fees.  Discounts must be a flat fee and not a percentage.

Yes. We use AcyMailing, an incredible product. We are presently integrating it into all TDWD systems. There is an extra charge for Acymailing, but it is not required or necessary for our system. We are also building several email templates for sending catalogs, results, trial notifications, and announcements.  It is easy to learn, and your club can use it for other things like meeting announcements, etc.

In this article we want to look at taking Day of Event entries and certain things clubs need to consider and remember.

The most important things are to be organized and make sure you have a person to be in charge of DOEs.

1) Make sure you have plenty of the AKC Fast CAT entry forms. Entrants are required to complete the form prior to running the trial.

2) Make sure you have collected the fees for the Day of Event Entries including the Top Dog fees which is $2.95 per entry.  Remember the AKC regulation, "An entry is not complete without payment.

3) There are two ways to handle the recording of times.

• If you have someone with the timer and has a computer they can record times into the spreadsheet. 
• You can add Day-of-Event entries to the spreadsheet but you will not be able to have the record number for the entry until they are added to the computer.
• Use Scribe sheets to record times. You will need to give the DOE form AND the Scribe sheet to whoever is doing the data entry.
• Make sure you have printed plenty of blank Scribe sheets for the recording of time

4) If you are going to hand out ribbon labels at the trials you need to remember you won't be able to print them until they input into the system.

• If you are not going to be able to input the DOEs at the trial you will need enough blank ribbon labels to allow them to be filled out by hand.

If the club has contracted with an independent secretarial service, we will send a W-9 to the contract secretary.  TDWD will require a W-9 from the secretary.

If the club contracts with TDWD to use TDWD software for FCAT, the club will receive a 1099 from TDWD. TDWD will require a W-9 from the Club.

No internet is required at your trial site.  Our system allows you to downland a spreadsheet for each trial being held.  You take the spreadsheet to your trial and enter the times.  When the trial is over you can easily sort the spreadsheet to put entries in order of their placement.  When you get back to a location with internet you simply upload the spreadsheet.  You are then ready to create reports and files for your trial, including the AKC CSV file.  You do not have to enter anything to create the AKC File except click the button to create the file.

Yes, we have automated the refund request process. We want you to know that we handle refund requests according to the club's published refund policy.   Entrants can request a refund.  When they do so, they receive an email notifying them that they have received the request.  The trial secretary also immediately gets an email.  You can then review the request and determine if the entrant is entitled to receive a refund and take the appropriate action.

TDWD handles all payment requests made through PayPal. PayPal fees are non-refundable, and a one-time charge of $5.00 is charged to process the refund.
